Here at J-Ann Shiba Inu we breed for quality not quantity.
All our puppies are raised in the home and are handled, kissed and hugged
several times a day
Leash training, crate
training and housetraining are all well on there way. I do this and other
training with a clicker. We have found positive type training to be the best way to
train a Shiba. You can find links to sites on positive type training on our
Links page.
I perform the "Early Neurological Stimulation" Protocol, originally developed by the US Military to help improve the performance of their dogs, with all my litters. This involves specific stimulation exercises performed on puppies from the time they are 3 days old until they are 16 days old. These exercises have been proven to improve cardio vascular performance, create stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease. If you are interested in learning more about this, click here, Early Neurological Stimulation.
The Ultimate Puppy Toolkit A must have for all puppy owners or soon to be puppy owner. This is included with each puppy I sell, along with health records and written guarantee.
Be sure to check out Puppy Bytes newsletter!! It goes along with the Ultimate Puppy Toolkit.
